Candidates for NY Attorney General Debate at The Cooper Union

One week before the New York state primaries, WNYC and The Cooper Union will host what is likely to be the final debate for the Democratic candidates for Attorney General of New York. Preet Bharara, former US Attorney, Southern District of New York, podcast host of Stay Tuned with Preet, and Distinguished Scholar in Residence, NYU School of Law, will join WNYC’s Brian Lehrer to co-moderate the debate, which will also feature panelists from New York-based nonprofits that belong to New Yorkers for Responsible Lending (NYRL) coalition.

Participating candidates are Leecia Eve, Letitia James, Sean Patrick Maloney, and Zephyr Teachout.

This event is free and open to the public in The Cooper Union’s historic Great Hall. Please note seating is on a first-come basis; an RSVP does not guarantee admission as we generally overbook to ensure a full house.

Doors open at 6pm.
