Carnal Redress: Pornographic Readings by Edmund White and Others

ENCLAVE READING SERIES kicks off its fall program of authors at CLUB CUMMING with a one-of-a-kind event: a nighttime traipse through of the erotic work of EDMUND WHITE. Plus cocktails.

In a special collaboration with author Tom Cardamone, editor of the extraordinary anthology Crashing Cathedrals: Edmund White (ITNA), we have assembled a incomparable bill of writers to read some filthy, dirty selections from White’s impressive oeuvre. There will also be readings of work from Crashing Cathedrals, which details writers’ personal pornographic connections to White’s lush literary terrain.

To top it all off, the evening will culminate in a special reading by the master himself, Edmund White, who has promised to read something especially titillating for the audience’s literary pleasure.

It all happens at the best club downtown, Club Cumming, where the drinks are strong and the clientele is smart and pretty.
