Carter Burden Gallery Announces New Exhibitions by Re-Emerging Older Artists

Two new exhibitions featuring the unique artwork of re-emerging older artists will be on display July 26, 2018 – August 16, 2018 at the Carter Burden Gallery, located at 548 West 28th Street #534 in Manhattan. The Carter Burden Gallery showcases the vibrant, cutting-edge and transformative art that is the product of the unique cultural wealth possessed by older professional artists.

In the East and West Galleries, The Small Works Show will feature paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and collages from over seventy artists. All artists will use identical 11”x14” canvases and each piece will highlight the artists’ diverse talents and strengths. First time collectors are encouraged visit the Gallery as the artwork will be priced at $200.

The On the Wall installation, titled “Make Your Mark,” is another collaboration of the artists from The Small Works Show exhibition. Each artist will contribute to the installation by making their own mark on blank material to create one united piece of artwork. Visitors to the Gallery are welcome to contribute to the installation.
