Cellist Francisco Vila

Ecuadorian cellist Francisco Vila is one of today’s most exciting talents. Concert appearances include Carnegie Hall, Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center, and Disney Hall in Los Angeles. He won 2nd prize at the 15th Annual Sphinx Competition. Francisco plays a 1790 Vincenzo Panormo cello. “Vila brought out the fervour and vitality of the piece, boldly emphasizing attack and consummate projection.” – The Strad Magazine
