Winter is a great time to get to see unusual blossoms, such as witch hazel and snowdrops. The ramble feeders attract a variety of hungry birds, including woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees, finches and sparrows, and the reservoir is home to some exotic waterfowl migrants, including mergansers, buffleheads, wood ducks, ruddy ducks and even loons.
