Changing the Face of Medicine: Black Women in Medicine with Crystal Emery

To close out Women’s History Month, The School Media Studies will host a screening of Changing the Face of Medicine: Black Women in Medicine, a one hour documentary film by Crystal Emery, Media Studies alumna followed by a panel discussion.

Prior to the screening, there will be a reception and book signing for Against All Odds: Celebrating Black Women in Medicine, by Crystal Emery. The book is a biographical essay of 140 African American women doctors.
