Chef Daniel Boulud Hosts 20th Annual Sunday Supper
Citymeals on Wheels Board of Directors Co-President Chef Daniel Boulud will continue his longtime support of Citymeals with The 20th Annual Sunday Supper at DANIEL. The event will benefit Citymeals on Wheels, a nonprofit organization that works with community-based organizations and senior centers to prepare and deliver more than 2 million weekend, holiday and emergency meals for over 18,000 homebound elderly New Yorkers every year.
One hundred and fifty guests will enjoy a cocktail reception followed by dinner at the two Michelin-starred DANIEL, one of New York City’s most elegant dining destinations. Chefs near and dear to Chef Boulud, including Grant Achatz, Ludo Lefebvre, Heinz Reitbauer, and Raymond Weber will join him in the kitchen to create a truly unforgettable evening in celebration of this special occasion. The evening’s emcee will be trained culinary expert, food writer, and dynamic television personality Gail Simmons. The dinner will be paired with wines selected by Raj Vaidya, Head Sommelier at DANIEL, and Daniel Johnnes, Wine Director for The Dinex Group, the restaurant group of Chef Daniel Boulud. Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to take part in the event’s live and silent auction offering European vacations, weekend getaways, five-star dining experiences, theatre tickets, sports memorabilia and more.
