Children of Lightning: Healing Magic in the Renaissance

Note: This program will now be offered online. It will be recorded and shared with registrants after each online program for a limited time only.

Marsilio Ficino was a 15th-century polymath who lived in Florence, Italy, under the patronage of the Medicis. He translated texts by ancient theurgists and many other sages, and devised his own synthesis of healing wisdom called Natural Magic.

In his view, erotic forces crackled through the layers of reality, and could be tapped for the health of body and soul, as well as for spiritual awakening. This seminar will examine Ficino’s teachings on the well-being of the soul and relevance of Natural Magic to modern life.

This lecture can be taken individually or as part of a series of three programs at a special combo price.
