Citymeals Culinary Circle Hosts Panel Discussion & Cocktail Event

On Thursday, February 16, 2017, Chef Shane Lyons and the Citymeals Culinary Circle will host its inaugural fundraising event at which chefs, restaurateurs, food and beverage entrepreneurs, and culinary visionaries will gather for an evening of collaborative discussion on the creative processes behind building a food brand. “The Lifestyle of Food: Building a Food Brand,” emceed by Adam Gertler, a chef and TV personality who competed on Food Network Star, will raise funds for Citymeals on Wheels, which provides a continuous lifeline of nourishing meals and vital companionship to New York City’s homebound elderly.

Guests will hear from some of New York’s most established chefs about how they have to adapt (or don’t adapt) their signature styles and brands to the changing times. Emerging chefs and foodie entrepreneurs will discuss their successes and difficulties in building their brands within the 2017 food scene of chain locations, food on television, and the ever-evolving world of handheld technology. The evening will include a live auction, and a panel discussion as well as cocktails, canapés and the chance for one-on-one conversation with their favorite food star.
