Climate Change and Climate Goals: The Paris Agreement Today

This month, as we near the fifth anniversary of the adoption of the Paris Agreement—the international pledge to keep a global temperature rise this century well below 2° Celsius above pre-industrial levels—the Museum, together with Mothers of Invention and Pathway to Paris, present a special discussion moderated by Mary Robinson, former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and host of the climate-change focused podcast Mothers of Invention, to check in with climate scientists and leaders about the current state of the goals and the work that still lies ahead.

This special program will look at the scientific data as well as the human impact of the efforts of achieving these goals and will feature special guests, interviews, and performances.
