The Royal Oak Society and NYSID are co-presenting a lecture by award-winning writer and journalist Clive Aslet. He will be speaking about his latest book, An Era of Elegance: The Edwardian Country House from 1890 to 1939, a tribute to the magnificent country houses built in Britain that have often been seen as the last monuments to a vanishing Edwardian age, recounted in such dramas as Downtown Abbey and The Forsythe Saga.
