Convergence of Dance, Diplomacy, and Pandemic

Celebrating its 45th Anniversary during the pandemic, Battery Dance has redoubled its mission of artistic excellence and social relevance at home and abroad.

On March 27, the Company launched Battery Dance TV and created over 700 classes, performances, and interviews, accruing over 1 million views across 200 countries since then. Rather than cancel its well-known summer festival, now in its 39th year, the company succeeded in presenting 9 evenings of themed programs, drawing an audience of over 28,000 for 52 films from 19 countries.

This program is presented by The National Arts Club in partnership with Battery Dance Company.
