Conversations with Contemporary Artists: Mohammed Kazem and Reem Fadda

Reem Fadda, Associate Curator, Middle Eastern Art, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Project, and recently appointed curator for the United Arab Emirates Pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale, presents “The Contemporary History of the UAE Art Scene,” examining the landscape of the UAE’s vanguard artists from the mid-1970s to present. Following the lecture, Mohammed Kazem, featured artist of the United Arab Emirates Pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale, joins Fadda in a lively discussion. A reception follows the program.
