Cooking in Marfa: Welcome We’ve Been Expecting You

This is the story of this unique community told through the lens of food, sharing the cuisine and characters that make The Capri a destination unto itself. Join celebrated international photographer Douglas Friedman — who has captured the homes and lives of everyone from Hilary Clinton and Diane von Furstenberg to Dita von Teese and Paris Hilton, Martha Stewart, Rita Wilson, Snoop Dog among others — in conversation with The Capri restaurant’s chef Rocky Barnette and proprietor and philanthropist Virginia Lebermann. Douglas, Virginia & Rocky will be joined by James Beard award winning author Shane Mitchell, as they go deep on the development of Cooking in Marfa: Welcome We’ve Been Expecting You (Phaidon), the recently released culinary tome dedicated to their beloved restaurant in Marfa, TX – The Capri.

The cost of shipping and sales tax are included in your ticket price. Order information will be shared with Phaidon for the purpose of fulfilling book orders. Registration for the event will close on November 10th, 2020 at 10pm. Books will be shipped following the event, for delivery within 14 days in the Continental US.
