David Taub Reel Upstanders Film Series Presents a Screening of The Visitor

The Visitor focuses on a lonely man whose life changes when he is forced to face issues relating to identity, immigration, and cross-cultural communication in post-9/11 New York City. Director Tom McCarthy won a 2008 Independent Spirit Award for Best Director for his work on the film. Richard Jenkins was nominated for a 2009 Academy Award for best actor for his role in the film.

The David Taub Reel Upstanders Film Series was established in honor of David Taub (1932-2010), a Holocaust Survivor and respected friend of the Center.
