Many scientific plant names commemorate the botanists who undertook long and risky expeditions to seek out species new to science. Not a few of these intrepid souls met with violent ends. Tour the gardens with Horticultural Interpreter Charles Day to hear stories about some of the courageous people celebrated in plant nomenclature and see their coveted finds in Wave Hill’s living collection.
