Part of CLSJ's Cinema With A Cause series — monthly screenings of thought-provoking films followed by guided discussions on social justice and community impact.

The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson investigates the 1992 death of transgender activist and pioneer Marsha P. Johnson, whose body was found in the Hudson River and ruled a suicide — a conclusion her friends and community never accepted. The film follows activist Victoria Cruz as she reopens the case, uncovering a story that sits at the intersection of trans rights, police indifference, and the AIDS crisis.

Free admission. Complimentary snacks provided.
