Directing Shakespeare

Daniel Sullivan, whose compelling and expertly performed productions have graced the Delacorte Theater in Central Park for more than a decade, will discuss with younger colleagues the ongoing project of bringing Shakespeare’s language, characters, worlds and ideas to life for an ever-changing contemporary audience. Dan will be joined by Sam Gold, whose productions of Othello and Hamlet promise to be among the highlights of the 16-17 season, and Patricia McGregor, Artistic Director of Baltimore’s Center Stage.
