Discovering Guido Cagnacci

On the occasion of the exhibition at the Frick Collection dedicated to Guido Cagnacci ‘s Repentant Magdalen, and in anticipation of the opening at the Italian Cultural Institute of the exhibit of the Dying Cleopatra (from December 2), two renowned art historians and experts of 17th century Italian art, will talk about the life and the work of this exceptional yet forgotten painter.

The evening will be dedicated in particular to the analysis of the paintings that will be on view during the two exhibitions.
