Drunk Science: Human Evolution

Drunk Science is an event hosted by comedians Joanna Rothkopf (staff writer at Jezebel), Shannon Odell (neuroscience PhD candidate at Weill Cornell) and Jordan Mendoza (once was pre-med). In each show, three intoxicated comedians compete to present the best scientific dissertation to a panel of real scientists.

and special guest scientist, Dr. William Harcourt-Smith, Ph.d

William Harcourt-Smith is an Assistant Professor in Anthropology at Lehman College and the Graduate Center at CUNY, and a Research Associate in the Division of Paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History. He co-directs the Early Miocene field site of Rusinga in western Kenya. Research interests include the origins of hominin bipedalism, paleoecology and hominoid evolution, primate cranial evolution and geometric morphometric techniques.
