Drunk Science Presents: Conservation Biology

Drunk Science is an event hosted by comedians Joanna Rothkopf (features editor at Jezebel), Shannon Odell (neuroscience PhD candidate at Weill Cornell) and Jordan Mendoza (once was pre-med). In each show, three intoxicated comedians compete to present the best scientific dissertation to a panel of real scientists.

Evon leads the Conservation Genetics Laboratory at Fordham where she pursues research at the intersection of behavioral ecology, evolutionary biology, and conservation policy. This work incorporates genetic data from museum specimens, historical records, and archaeological sources into models that elucidate how changes in human management of landscapes have been tracked by species.
