The work of Mexico City-born, South Africa-raised writer Valeria Luiselli has been translated into many languages. She is the author of Faces in the Crowd, which earned the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction and the National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 prize; The Story of My Teeth, which won the Los Angeles Times Prize for Best Fiction; and the essay Tell How It Ends, among others. Her forthcoming novel, Lost Children Archives, is due out in 2019.
