Described as the "David Bowie of cabaret" by Broadway World, "slyly subversive" by the Wall Street Journal, and labeled the "male Marlene Dietrich" by the New York Times, Australian cabaret performer Kim David Smith presents an intimate evening of works inspired by the moon, celestial bodies, and lunar landscapes, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing on July 20, 1969. With music direction by Tracy Stark.
Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Apollo's Muse: The Moon in the Age of Photography.
