Northeast Conference on Science & Skepticism: An Evening with James Randi

NECSS 2017 proudly presents the world’s foremost paranormal investigator live on stage in New York City for a special one-night-only presentation: An Evening with James Randi.

James Randi is a cultural touchstone as “The Amazing Randi” — a world-renowned stage magician and escape artist, with records surpassing even Houdini. Upon seeing the skills of his trade used to willfully deceive the unsuspecting public, Mr. Randi dedicated his life to fighting charlatans, con artists, and fakers, becoming one of the founders of the modern skeptical movement.

Mr. Randi will present his lecture, “Magic, Illusion, and the Paranormal,” followed by a question and answer period with the audience. This performance is part of the Northeast Conference on Science & Skepticism, and tickets are on sale to both conference attendees as well as the general public.

NOTE LOCATION CHANGE DUE TO FIRE DAMAGE…The workshops and SGU private show will take place at the FIT Feldman Center, which is just down the block on 27th Street (heading West) from Haft Auditorium. An email will go out to workshop and SGU private show attendees in just a few minutes with additional information. The main conference Friday through Sunday will not be more than 6 blocks from Haft Auditorium; additional information will be posted soon.
