The fictional story follows Griet (Johansson), a young maid working in the house of painter Johannes Vermeer (Firth), who first becomes his assistant and then the model for one of the artist’s most famous works. (Rated PG-13; 100 minutes.)
The exhibition viewing begins at 5:30 p.m. Film screening starts at 6:00 p.m. Nathaniel Prottas, the Frick’s Samuel H. Kress Interpretive Fellow, will give a brief introduction to the film.
