Female Empowerment Thematic Tour

Join us to discover the adventures and rituals of powerful female figures in Himalayan art. This three-part tour series will explore the art, life stories, and lineages relating to famous female yogis and tantric mother goddesses.

About the Instructor

Antoinette Maclachlan began training as a docent at the Rubin in 2008 and continues to lead tours and programs at the Museum, always expanding her interest in Asian art. She spent ten years living in Tokyo as a designer and artist before relocating to New York. She travels to India every year to indulge her passion for Indian art and architecture. In 2006 she started the Kids Postcard Project, which connects art and disadvantaged children in Mumbai, India.
