The film follows Lemon Andersen, a three-time felon and a one-time Tony Award-winning poet from Russell Simmons’s Def Poetry Jam, in his efforts to stage a comeback at New York’s Public Theater. Join directors Laura Brownson and Beth Levison for a talk back following the screening. Presented by the Schomburg Center’s Hip Hop 4.0 Initiative and curated by Martha Diaz. Registration required.
