The Center for Fiction is hosting its Fifth Annual First Novel Fete, with readings from the finalists for this year’s Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize, awarded to 2014’s best debut novel. Mingling and cocktails follow the reading program. The evening’s proceeds go to a good cause: the center’s Books for NYC Schools/KidsRead program.
