Free Poster Printing for NYC Pride

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, the Center for Book Arts will be opening its doors on June 25th at 6:30pm for a FREE poster printing session. Attendees will use the Center’s plethora of fonts and ink colors to print their message of solidarity, resistance and resilience, as New Yorkers gear up for the NYC Pride March on June 30th. We are partnering with two LGBTQ+ organizations which will help us select messages to print. The event is completely free and participants will be able to take home their own poster!

This free event includes admission to the Center’s exhibitions; Rising Together: An exhibition of Artists’ Books, Prints and Zines with a Social Conscience, as well as our featured artists projects: Deposits, a Featured Artist Project by Inge Bruggeman, and New Book Art: 2018 Workspace Residents.
