Free Tours of The House on Henry Street

The House on Henry Street at Henry Street Settlement will be open to the public on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop by for free tours led by Public Historian Katie Vogel, a holiday apple fritter cooking demonstration, and more.

This permanent exhibition, located at 265 Henry Street on the Lower East Side and funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, illuminates themes of social activism, urban poverty, and public health through the lens of Henry Street’s history, from 1893 to the present.
