Virgintino will be here at the library to talk about his book Freedomland U.S.A: The Definitive History and give a presentation about the Freedomland American history theme park in the Bronx from the early 1960s. Famously known as the “Disneyland of the East,” the site now is home to Coop City and its shopping center. His presentation will include films, photos, and park memorabilia.
