Celebrate a quarter century of the pioneering journal of LGBTQ life with this event to honor the release of the commemorative book, In Search of Stonewall: The Riots at 50 and The Gay & Lesbian Review at 25. Founded in 1994—25 years after the Stonewall Riots—the Review is a groundbreaking bimonthly magazine that features reviews, history, politics, and culture through the lens of the LGBTQ experience. Panelists Karla Jay, Richard Schneider Jr., Amy Hoffman and Timothy Stewart Winter will discuss the G&LR’s early days, the significance of Stonewall, and the future of LGBTQ rights.
