As a field biologist, Schaller is a legend.
He has studied endangered and iconic species in 23 countries on four continents over the past 60 years, written 18 books including the National Book Award-winning The Serengeti Lion, and contributed to the establishment of numerous protected areas. This evening he talks about his thirty-year passion for exploring the remote Tibetan Plateau in China, the subject of his latest book, Tibet Wild: A Naturalist’s Journeys on the Roof of the World.
