Ghosts of the Titanic Walking Tour

RMS Titanic Walking Tour NYC

Inspired by the uncanny and ghostly tales of the ship that would change seafaring history forever, Boroughs of the Dead presents our third annual Ghosts of the Titanic walking tour.

After the Titanic disaster, dozens of survivors came forward with tales of foreboding feelings, precognitive dreams and strange coincidences. They told of unsettling messages, and described a night of unprecedented atmospheric eeriness in the moments immediately before the sinking. Dozens more told tales of just missing the boat, or staying off it completely because they “just knew” they shouldn’t go.

For sheer strangeness, there is no ship more haunting than Titanic.

This one hour and 45 minute tour will take participants from Astor Place to Pier 54 in Chelsea as we share tales of the strange confluence of inexplicable coincidences and eerie events connected to the ill-fated ocean liner, from ghostly artifacts to mysterious apparitions that haunt us to this day…400 miles out to sea.

Available only once a year, on the anniversary of the disaster, this special seasonal tour remembers Titanic’s tragic and glorious story, and how it is uniquely connected to New York City.
