When: Fri, Oct 26, 2012 at 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Where: Asian American/Asian Research Institute
25 W. 43rd St.
Are the concepts of God and Tao related? Is there light within us? How can we integrate Western and Eastern traditions for modern humanity? How can we live to fulfill our wishes? These issues are examined in Dr. Kwanyk Claire Sit's two books, Lao Tzu and Anthroposophy and The Lord’s Prayer: An Eastern Perspective. Dr. Sit will share her insight with simple, yet illuminative anecdotes and parables. She will explore ways to enrich our life using teachings of Confucius, Lao Tzu, and Chuang Tzu.
