Green-Wood Honors Our Nation’s Heroes at 21st Annual Memorial Day Concert

Celebrate the unofficial start of summer at The Green-Wood Cemetery’s 21st annual Memorial Day concert. Visitors will sit among Green-Wood’s rolling hills and listen to The New York City Symphonic Band at Third Street, led by music director Paul Corn and hosted by guest conductor Brian P. Worsdale. The works of many of Green-Wood’s permanent residents, including Fred Ebb, Louis Moreau Gottschalk, Leonard Bernstein, and Paul Jabara, will be played throughout the afternoon.

Visitors are invited to bring a blanket and enjoy this outdoor performance of patriotic favorites.

The concert is free but RSVPs are recommended.
