Artist and curator Greg Blasdel discovered the work of Vermont self-taught artist Paul D. Humphrey, whose drawings are included in the current exhibition Women’s Studies. Blasdel will discuss Humphrey’s “Sleeping Beauties” series and the deeply psychological and obsessive nature of the artist’s renderings of his subjects.
