Widely acclaimed storyteller Greg Sarris - author of Grand Avenue and Watermelon Nights - returns with his first novel in nearly three decades. “This powerful novel by Greg Sarris is lush and gripping as it follows one Native Californian from early girlhood to late old age, walking her own path through a changing world,” says Rebecca Solnit. In his only Manhattan event, Sarris discusses the new book with Harlem Writers Guild VP Sylvia L. White. Part of the Library's Celebration of Indigenous Writers, this event is generously underwritten by the Henry S.F. Cooper Jr. Fund.
