Happy Bones Festival

happybonesNYSEC welcomes all families to attend its Happy Bones Festival in the Fall Season. Free and open to the public, it includes face painting, mystery explorations, sharing of ancestral stories and memories, autumn arts and crafts, fun snacks!

Each year, Ethics For Children at NYSEC hosts a Happy Bones Festival that brings a life-affirming experience to the mysterious and natural themes of the fall season.  This is a creative and non-commercialized, non-gorey celebration that spins together the mysteries of body and ancestry of All-Hallows-Eve and Dia de los Muertos (the Mexican tradition of Day of the Dead) into a dance celebration of HAPPY BONES.

The New York Society for Ethical Culture is a humanist community dedicated to ethical relationships, social justice, and environmental stewardship. Entry to our 100-year-old building and meeting rooms is wheelchair accessible. For events in our Auditorium and Social Hall, please call ahead (212-874-5210 x121) and plan to arrive one hour before start time.
