Here/Say: Framing, Part II [Climate]

Join Barnard art history and visual arts department to discuss the relationship between art and relevant issues of our time. In its third year at Barnard, Here/Say has invited seven individuals from a range of disciplines to consider ways that we frame the world around us, and how those actions, in turn, affect that world and our experience of it. Frames can be useful. Yet sometimes framing behaviors generate significant issues.

The second conversation in the series, Framing Part II [Climate], looks at our relationship to the [huge, frameless, changing] natural world with visual artist Riitta Ikonen, climate change researcher Åsa Rennermalm and artist Vanessa Thill. Moderated by Lizzy De Vita ’08.
