Historic New York: Nature and Design

Urban Park Rangers specialize in interpretation of historic turning points, both natural and man-made, in our city’s long history. “Historic New York” programs highlight the history and architecture of selected neighborhoods or parks.  On this walking tour, discover the history behind Calvert Vaux and Frederick Law Olmsted’s vision that is Prospect Park. The program will focus on their seamless transition between the urban and the natural worlds within New York City.
