About the Roosevelt Island Historical Society Lecture Series: RIHS with support of the New York Public Library presents a curated series of historical lectures connected to Roosevelt Island’s heritage, from Colonial time to the resent. These event are FREE and open to the public, made possible by Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation’s Public Purpose Fund and New York City Council Member Ben Kallos, with funding from the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development.
