Come honor the 72nd anniversary of the Allied invasion of France with a special video presentation made by New-York Historical Society Trustee and flag collector John Monsky, who recounts his journey to return one American flag to the beaches of Normandy where it came ashore on D-Day, June 6, 1944.

Brought to life through interviews, archival images, and film clip highlights from various documentaries, the human story behind history's greatest military operation is retold through eyewitness accounts and live performance music from the World War II era.

Two screenings, 2pm and 3:30pm.
