Hostess Brands Sweetens the Streets of NYC in Celebration of Its “Sweetennial”

In celebration of its 100th birthday, or “SweetennialTM,” iconic snack cake company Hostess Brands, LLC is kicking off a national sampling tour. Over the course of the next two months, the Twinkiemobile – an airstream decked out to resemble the famous treat – will travel across the country spreading fun and sweetness in its wake. Its first stops will be in New York City the week of April 29th.

Visit the Twinkiemobile in Times Square on Monday, April 29th or outside the New York Hilton Midtown on Wednesday, May 1st. Visitors will be treated to samples of new and limited-time only Hostess® Birthday CupCakes. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to meet Twinkie The Kid® or trade Twinkies® recipes with celebrity Chef George Duran.

Hostess fans can also partake in a variety of entertaining games, such as Plinko-“Twink-O”, Hostess Corn Hole and Tic-Tac-Toe, as well as a photo booth and other selfie-friendly activities.
