HRY SPACE Talk: “A Conversation of Digital Design”

On May 17th from 6:30-8:30 pm, HRY SPACE in collaboration with SIMPL MAG will be hosting HRY SPACE Talk under the theme:

“A Conversation of Digital Design”

Food & drinks will be provided at the event reception, the talk starts at 6:30 pm sharp.

HRY SPACE Talk is an integral programming of HRY SPACE, for which we bring industry-leading individuals together in a room filled with artworks from a generation of artists that are radically reshaping the contemporary art scene, hearing them share their experiences and ideas on their own works, and how we collectively move forward to drive positive impact for millennial culture worldwide.

Andre Ribeiro (https://andreribeiro.co)

Design Manager @ Squarespace

Andre Ribeiro currently works at Squarespace as a Design Manager. Previously, Andre was a Senior Art Director at Huge Inc.

At Squarespace, Andre’s primary role is to lead the design efforts of the Visual Design team. The tasks range from designing and custom building all pages of the front site (squarespace.com), developing standalone microsites for a variety of subjects including the seasonal campaigns, and creating bespoke websites for high-profile customers. Andre also helps oversee the work of other visual designs in Squarespace org, including some of the branding projects, installations, and events.

Visual Editor @ The New York Times

Gabriel Gianordoli is an information designer who builds things using drawing and code. Gabriel has been working with both print and digital media since 2006. His work focuses on data visualization and interaction. Gabriel is currently a Visual Editor at The New York Times.

David Navarro (http://www.navarro.co/)

Executive Creative Director @ Ueno

David Navarro leads creative teams at Ueno NY working closely with strategy, production, design, and technology in shaping and executing digital products and experiences as well and defining and building brands. Born and raised in the Mediterranean coast of Spain, David has a background in Design, Film and Advertising leading creative teams over 19 years in agencies in Spain, Netherlands and USA, on projects for brands such as Adidas, Spotify, Google, Puma, ING, Volkswagen, Mini, KLM, Philips, Heineken and got recognized with several Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, Webby, FWA and Awwwards to name a few. He’s also an active part of the design community being the speaker at events such as OFFF, FITC, Generate or Awwwards Conference.

This artists panel talk is co-organized by Yuming Lu(@apcorn).
