ICP Alumni Talk—Beyond Me: New Voices in Self-Portraiture

Personal, political, and expressive, photographers have long used the self-portrait to reveal or explore their identities and aspects of the human experience through image-making. That has remained especially true as many looked inward during the pandemic’s period of isolation and uncertainty. Join Allen Frame, Faculty in ICP’s One-Year Certificate Program in Creative Practices, along with two ICP alumni, Ian Morton (DOC 2021) and Paola Martínez Fiterre (CP 2019)  for an evening exploring their work in self-portraiture. The ICP alumni will share selections from personal projects and discuss how the making of self-portraits has driven their work and point of view as artists.
