In conjunction with Beth B’s exhibition, Howl! and the Ms. Foundation present Illumination: Spotlighting the Culture of Violence Against Women, a provocative panel discussion of women’s safety that will cover topics such as trans safety, sex trafficking, domestic assault, mass incarceration, rape, and the political power of art. Included on the panel are Ruchira Gupta, Founder of Apne App; Beverly Tillery, Executive Director of New York City Anti-Violence Project; Sharon Richardson, Founder of Re-Entry Rocks; artist/filmmaker Beth B; and Teresa C. Younger, President and CEO, Ms. Foundation for Women.
