Imagining Men & Women: Richard Russo on Fathers, Sons, and Friendship in Conversations with Jennifer Finney Boylan

Richard Russo is the author of eleven books, including Empire Falls, which won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction in 2001. His 1994 novel, Nobody’s Fool, was made into a film starring Paul Newman by Robert Benton; in 2016, Russo released the long-awaited sequel, Everybody’s Fool. His books — including his new collection of short stories, Trajectory — are hailed both for their glorious wit as well as their fundamental kindness and humanity. This evening will feature a conversation between Russo and his friend of twenty-five years, Jennifer Finney Boylan, and will focus on relationships and friendships between men and women, parents and children, and authors and their creations.
