Impact Thursday 7: New York City’s Right to Counsel for Eviction Cases

New York Law School’s Impact Center for Public Interest Law cordially invites you to attend a panel discussion, “New York’s Right to Counsel for Eviction Cases,” moderated Professor Andrew Scherer, Policy Director, Impact Center for Public Interest Law at New York Law School. Under newly adopted legislation, New York City has become the first jurisdiction in the country to ensure legal representation for all low-income tenants in eviction proceedings. The panel will discuss the law’s implementation and implications.
