Improv Basics with James Quesada

James Quesada leads an improv fundamentals workshop at Grove 34 Comedy Club in Astoria, covering stage presence, acting basics, partner work, scene building, comedy concepts, and tapping into a sense of play.

Quesada has been performing improv since 2009 and teaching since 2012, with appearances at festivals across the country including LA, Chicago, Detroit, and NYC. He is a co-owner of Grove 34 and can be found every Sunday at the club's Improv Night.

Open to complete beginners and experienced performers looking to reconnect with the basics.
